Dr I C Verma
Dr. I. C. Verma is currently the head of Department of Genetic Medicine at Sri Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. He was earlier Professor of Pediatrics and Genetics in AIIMS, New Delhi. He received genetics training in the UK, USA & Switzerland. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, London, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the National Academy of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He has received a number of national awards – Ranbaxy Science Award, ICMR, NAMS and BC Roy Medical Council award.
He is a Member and Vice-chairman of the Ethics Committee of the International Human Genome Organization (HUGO) and serves as an adviser in genetics to the WHO in Geneva, and to Roche Genetics in Basel. He has recently been mentioned in The Limca Book of Records 2003 as a pioneer in genetics in India.
He has vast experience in genetic counseling, serving about 2000 cases with genetic problems every year, and bringing the benefits of genetics and genomics to large number of patients.

Dr Subhrojyoti Bhowmick
Dr. Subhrojyoti Bhowmick is a medical graduate from Calcutta University with a Gold Medal in Gynecology & Obstetrics. He has completed M.D in Pharmacology from IPGME& R, Kolkata and has over 13 years of experience in the field of Clinical Research, Pharmacovigilance and Medication management in Hospitals. He has a certification in Clinical Research Administration & Project Management from Stanford University, USA and in Patient Safety from Johns Hopkins University, USA.
He is an Assessor for National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Health care providers (NABH), India assessing hospitals for medication safety and clinical quality standards. He is a qualified NABH Assessor for Ethics Committee Accreditation program in India. He worked at Stanford University School of Medicine, USA as a Senior Clinical Research Associate from 2015 to 2017 and finished certification in Biostatistics, Evidence based Medicine and Medical Writing from Stanford University. He has completed Fellowship in Healthcare Quality from International Society of Quality in Healthcare (ISQua) from Ireland He has been awarded as the “Most promising Healthcare professional in Patient Safety” by the Asian African Chamber of Commerce and Industry in October 2018.
He has been recently awarded the prestigious Lucian Leape Patient Safety fellowship by ISQua (First Indian doctor) for 2019 for which he completed a 3 months assignment at the Patient safety and Risk Management unit at the World Health Organization, Headquarters, Geneva. He has multiple publications to his credit and is a peer reviewer and Editorial Board Member of many National and International Journals. Currently, he is the Clinical Director of Academics, Quality and Clinical Research Depts at Peerless Hospital and B K Roy Research Centre, Kolkata.
